About Brittany Biles

Dr. Brittany Biles, PhD is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Licensed Psychologist. She provides direct patient care of children, adolescents, and young adults in outpatient therapy, with a specialization in providing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy. She also directs the Trauma-Informed Outpatient Therapy Clinic at UF Health Shands Hospital. She trains graduate students, interns, and postdoctoral associates in assessment and therapy of youth ages 5 through 25 throughout her clinics and outpatient therapy. She is passionate about child and family relationships as well as increasing positive health behaviors with youth, with specialization in treating youth and families with trauma histories.

Dr. Biles’ clinical interests focus on child, adolescent, and family trauma, as well as adolescent health risk behaviors, including suicidailty. In addition to providing therapeutic services, her clinical interests involve assessment of ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disability, and autism spectrum disorder.
