Researchers at the University of Florida are looking for healthy 6-9 year-olds to participate in a research study related to sleep, eating, and physical activity.
What is the purpose?
- To see how children’s sleep patterns may impact their eating and physical activity patterns
Who is eligible to participate?
- Children between the ages of 6-9 who are healthy and have no diagnosed sleep, behavioral, or mood disorders
What is required to participate?
- Most children will participate for about 4 weeks. They will track their sleep and eating patterns at home daily (with their parent’s help) and will wear two devices every day to measure their sleep and physical activity. children will be assigned to go to bed and wake up at different times across the study.
Is there compensation for this program?
- Families in this study may receive up to $200 for participating in all aspects of the study
